Having secured the Masters of Divinity (in Biblical Counseling) certification, Dr Liz has been doing Biblical Counseling on a regular basis. Eventually she secured a Ph.D. in Biblical Counseling, from Trinity, Indiana.

She is a member of the International Association of Biblical Counselors. She is registered with the Canadian Association of Pastoral Care and Practice, and is an affiliate member of the Alberta Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. She taught in Taylor Seminary, when she was an adjunct faculty and worships at Southgate Alliance Church, in Edmonton, Alberta.

Dr Liz has been married for 39 years, and has three adult children, all of whom are strong in faith in Jesus Christ and serving Christ in 3 Nations. Her husband is a practising orthopaedic surgeon and also served in charity medical work in India and Africa. She was also blessed with 6 grandchildren.
